Allison Rodgers is a nationally recognized award-winning photographer and designer. Although her design and photography work has been featured on magazine covers and TV shows, she’s most honored by the work that adorns her clients’ homes.
Allison started ARP in 2003 after several years as an Art Director in the Memphis advertising world. This experience, along with her degree in photography, has allowed her to be recognized as one of the top studios in the US while creating an elevated level of service for her clients for over 20 years. She creates with the end in mind and strives to bridge the gap of what we think portraits are supposed to look like while creating art of the ones you love to be displayed in the places you live.
“We all love art. Our children, our families, and the ones we love are OUR art. My goal is to create pieces that remind you how precious these people are to you. And do it in a way that feels like it was created just for you. Because it was.”
She walks you through a bespoke process of Design Consultation, Session, Ordering, and Installation so when you're finished, the experience has been inspiring and rewarding versus overwhelming. And you have work on your walls that allows you to remember.
We attach memories to images. If you’ve ever experienced a session that felt crazy then you understand. The stress of selecting clothes, getting everyone ready, hoping they are all in a good mood. Praying something good is captured, not to mention needing to figure out what to do with the images after they’ve been shot. Many times this chaos results in lots of documented mediocre moments. Images you don’t find wall-worthy so they remain in your digital space. The pace of our world leads us to believe that more and faster is best. Allison believes that creating with intention and a plan gives breathing room to relax, stop time, and be seen in a way that feels true.
Allison’s goal when creating something for you is this —
“When you walk by the images in your home, I want you to think - “I love this. That was a good day. I can’t wait to do it again.”
